Step 1. Right Click on the desktop window. The desktop window is the main window
that is open when you first start up windows. There should not be any other
windows open (close or minimize them).
Step 2. Select "Properties" from the pop list after right clicking on the
desktop.
Step 3. Click on the "Settings" tab on the upper right of the newly opened
dialog.
Step 4. Select a resolution from the "Desktop Area" selector higher than 800X600.
If you have a newer computer and your monitor is good, you should have higher
resolution to pick from. If you do not, you may need to consult your owners manual.
Step 5. If you are using an older version of Windows 95 you will have to restart
your computer after making the changes (it will tell you that). If you have a
newer version, it will ask you if you want to apply the changes without
rebooting, say yes. Also, turn up the number of colors being used on
your display. If you are using "256 colors", you need to turn it up to
"24 bit" or "true color". If not, my pages will look ugly shades of
pink!
