The Lightning 8 is an 8 element directional base station antenna. For the operator who demands the highest gain available from a single antenna, the Lightning 8 will deliver. The highly optimized element length, element spacing and long boom design of the Lightning 8 provides superior signal strength and receive characteristics, the "antenna to beat" among competitors!
The Lightning 8 is a highly tuned directional quad antenna incorporating all of the most desirable features for superior two-way communications. Eight heavy wire radiating elements are precisely spaced and mounted on a long aluminum boom and fiberglass frame, forming a high-gain parasitic antenna. Exclusive SFS (Signal Feed System, patented) matching system gives maximum directional performance and dual polarity to allow switching between close(local) and long haul signal paths (DX).
